Brian Law // International Development Consultant

The Other Side

Alongside acting, Brian has spent over ten years building a separate career as an International Development Consultant specialising in monitoring, evaluation and learning — work that feeds a different but equally important part of who he is: curious, analytical, and drawn to understanding how the world works.

A lifelong learner with an instinct for following curiosity, his academic path spans architecture and urban planning (UMiami), Public Policy and International Development (LSE), and Finance (SOAS) — each one less a qualification than a genuine attempt to answer the next big question.

He works across education, social entrepreneurship, and economic development, with regional expertise in Africa and South Asia. The work has taken him across the world, opened unexpected doors, and sharpened a way of thinking that feeds directly back into his creative life. Clients include TetraTech International Development, Bodhi Global Analysis, and Oxford Policy Management, with projects funded by the FCDO, USAID, Mercy Corps and Save the Children.

He also provides strategy and evaluation services to arts organisations and heritage sites, a thread that keeps one foot firmly in the cultural sector.
