Humanum Studio is a production company that serves as an outlet for me to develop and produce theatrical plays. It uses my existing business ventures as an international development consultant and a professional actor to provide inspiration, networks and financial resources to support its growth.
The establishment of Humanum Studio represents the next big push towards realising my long-term goal of becoming a playwright, and aims to fill major gaps in the UK theatre market. These gaps include underrepresentation of (1) East-Asian playwrights and (2) writers with professional experience and networks in social science disciplines like international development, economics, and public policy.
